Florida requires registered clinical social work interns to complete supervised post-master's experience under a Board-approved Qualified Supervisor. The Florida Board currently identifies requirements including 100 hours of supervision over at least 100 weeks and 1,500 hours of face-to-face psychotherapy.
Prospective supervisees should verify their intern registration and the supervisor's current Board approval before counting supervised hours toward licensure.
